Grey leggings from heather and marl through to charcoal and dark slate. Heathered and marl knits are the practical pick — the flecked surface disguises sweat marks far better than a flat grey, which is notoriously the worst colour for showing them.

Light greys also show sheerness readily, so favour charcoal or a marl knit if you plan to train in them.
